About the Role
As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll be the first line of defense for end-user technical issues. From troubleshooting network errors to managing system configurations, you’ll work hands-on with hardware and software across the business. Your role will be vital in maintaining the efficiency and security of internal IT systems while supporting team members both onsite and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical support via email, remote tools, and face-to-face interactions.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, mobile devices, and essential business software.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and configurations using Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other systems.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, printing, and security issues across the network.
- Respond to IT support tickets promptly using platforms like Jira, Zendesk, or Freshservice.
- Support employee onboarding/offboarding processes, including hardware provisioning and retrieval.
- Maintain detailed IT documentation and help develop internal knowledge base resources.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on ongoing IT improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support or help desk environments, preferably with an MSP background.
- Proficient with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, remote desktop solutions, printer/server management, and backup systems.
- Strong understanding of basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using ITSM or ticketing systems.
- Ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating in a team-driven culture.
