👨💻 Your Role: Software Architecture Leader for Radar Systems
As a Software Architect within the Surface Radar domain, you’ll define and oversee the digital processing architecture for one of our advanced radar solutions. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will guide system-level software design, integration, and innovation.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design the complete digital solution architecture for radar signal processing
- Define system interfaces and allocate software functionality across platforms (PCs, FPGAs, DSPs)
- Collaborate with radar engineering teams and subsystem leads to align software modules
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Review, validate, and improve software specifications and design documents
- Drive continuous improvement and propose new methods or tools to enhance team productivity
- Support radar integration teams throughout the lifecycle
🤝 Cross-Team Collaboration
You’ll work closely with:
- Business Segment Engineering teams to define system needs
- Hardware and software platform teams (OS, middleware, hardened solutions)
- Development teams for radar software (CPU, GPU, DSP, FPGA)
- Radar system integrators for final delivery and deployment
👤 Ideal Candidate Profile
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Proven experience in software architecture or complex system engineering
- Strong knowledge of real-time processing, embedded systems, and radar applications is a plus
- Ability to lead and energize cross-functional teams
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Open-minded and flexible to reach collaborative decisions
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is a plus
